Texas authorities captured a registered sex offender from Alabama who had failed to appear in court on a sexual abuse charge in Elmore County, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Authorities located Andre Underwood, 40, in an Austin, Texas, neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, U.S. Marshals said.
Underwood was indicted Jan. 8, 2010, in Elmore County on a charge of sexual abuse of a child younger than 12, according to District Attorney Randall Houston’s office.
