A Dothan man received a 10-year prison sentence for sending a nude picture of himself to a teenage girl, and possessing several nude pictures of the same girl.

Assistant Houston County District Attorney Kristen Shields said 49-year-old Franklin Whaples pleaded guilty to four felony sexual assault related charges in front of Circuit Court Judge Michael Conaway.
