A former teacher at Susan Moore High School pleaded guilty today after authorities said she sent sexual text messages to a 15-year-old male student.

Crystal Gilliland Clowdus, 32, entered her plea at a 1:30 p.m. hearing at the Blount County Courthouse. She pleaded guilty to transmitting obscene material to a minor, said Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey.
