In a post Monday on a Facebook account belonging to Alabama state Sen. Shadrack McGill, R-Woodville, a poster identifying herself as McGill’s wife said women have used the social media network to approach her husband “multiple times” since he was first elected in 2010.

“I have been silent for long enough!!” a person who identified herself as Heather McGill wrote. “NO MORE! Multiple times since being in office he has gotten emails from women (who may not even be real) inviting him to explore, also sending pictures of themselves.”

At the time of his arrest, authorities called 22-year-old Roderikus Alloway a serial rapist and sexual predator. He has now pleaded guilty to five counts of first degree rape, six counts of first degree sodomy and one count of forcible sexual touching.

Friday, the Tallahassee Police Department released that 41-year-old David Hicks II was one of 20 arrested during the week of April 10-15 by the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force or ICAC.  The operation was aimed at predatory online solicitation of children for sex, said Tallahassee Police Chief Dennis Jones.

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) – An employee of the juvenile court’s Youth Advocacy Program has been found guilty of sodomizing two teenage girls.

Sherman Tate appeared in court Thursday and was acquitted of a rape charge. Both girls were students at Mobile’s Point Academy, a school for troubled youth, when the assaults occurred in 2010. The girls testified that 38-year-old Tate had assaulted them on several occasions.

Assistant Houston County District Attorney Patrick Amason said Circuit Court Judge Kevin Moulton gave 24-year-old Lorenzo Chitay the sentence last week after he pleaded guilty to a felony sex abuse of a child under the age of 12 charge.
