Graves, who works in computer forensics, said it has risen from the about one case every three or four months that they had only a few years ago.

“I have been silent for long enough!!” a person who identified herself as Heather McGill wrote. “NO MORE! Multiple times since being in office he has gotten emails from women (who may not even be real) inviting him to explore, also sending pictures of themselves.”

At the time of his arrest, authorities called 22-year-old Roderikus Alloway a serial rapist and sexual predator. He has now pleaded guilty to five counts of first degree rape, six counts of first degree sodomy and one count of forcible sexual touching.

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) – An employee of the juvenile court’s Youth Advocacy Program has been found guilty of sodomizing two teenage girls.

Sherman Tate appeared in court Thursday and was acquitted of a rape charge. Both girls were students at Mobile’s Point Academy, a school for troubled youth, when the assaults occurred in 2010. The girls testified that 38-year-old Tate had assaulted them on several occasions.

Tuscaloosa police officers arrested two men on rape charges involving the same 14-year-old girl they allegedly met online.

Investigators say the men met the 14-year-old girl on a social media website called “Tagged,” a site where people can exchange pictures and messages. The teen’s mother found messages from older men to her daughter and called police on Dec. 31, 2012.
